    Pilates is a unique method of body conditioning that improves balance, muscle strength, flexibility, and posture. The integration of breath, control, and mindfulness unite as the many groups of muscles work together to support and govern movement.

    Pilates practise develops better core strength leading to enhanced sporting performance. By focusing on the core postural muscles, Pilates keeps the body balanced, providing spinal support and promoting overall health. As a system of exercises Pilates can improve, restore, and promote mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.

    My Yoga journey began fifteen years ago and I was immediately struck by how it improved my strength, yet how it also improved my focus and my emotional wellbeing too. 

    On a physical level Yoga has helped develop my flexibility, balance and endurance. Yet Yoga has a multitude of other benefits too: improved sleep patterns, enhanced bone health, protection of the spine, better posture, and even improved self esteem. 

     

    I saw Yoga change my mental and physical capacity quickly, helping me prepare my mind and body for their long term health. Yoga is open to everyone, to all generations and fitness levels. It’s about a healthy lifestyle and a pathway towards stillness and tranquility. I can guide you on your Yoga journey so that you too can experience its transformative effect.

    YMCA diploma in teaching Yoga (Level 3)

    Advanced Anatomy and Physiology Exam (Level 3)

    BA in Theology (2:1), Manchester University

    Final Assessment Mat Pilates

    British Red Cross First Aid trained

    600 hours Yoga registered

    I want to share the incredible benefits of Pilates & Yoga with as many people as possible. I love Pilates & I love Yoga — they both make me feel happy and healthy and I want to inspire you to feel the same with creative, energising and engaging classes.

     

    All my classes have a focus on alignment, centring and connection of breath to movement, creating a flow which builds strength and flexibility in the body, and improved posture and body awareness.

    I teach women and men of all ages and abilities; my clients range from athletes to people who have never tried exercise before.
